We Build Software That Respects You.
Indomitus Group was born from a simple observation: modern software has become hostile to the user. Between subscription fatigue, invasively tracking, and walled gardens, the “personal” computer feels less personal every day.
We exist to push back. We build professional-grade tools with a primary focus on the Linux ecosystem. Our apps are designed to be owned, not rented. They are engineered to protect your privacy, not exploit it.
Our Story:
Indomitus Group is led by Matt Milano, a developer and tech journalist with a career spanning over two decades.

Long before the current app boom, Matt was engineering scientific tools, including HOU-IP, the image processing software used by the UC Berkeley Lawrence Hall of Science to help students analyze images from the Hubble Space Telescope.
Matt later spent years as a tech journalist, writing for major publications about the state of the industry. He covered the rise of surveillance capitalism, the importance of Open Source, and the security challenges facing everyday users. After writing thousands of articles about how technology was losing its way, he decided to stop writing about the problem and start coding the solution.
